Creating Events

Add events to your calendar to track deadlines, meetings, and milestones.

Quick Event Creation

  1. Click on any date in your calendar
  2. Enter event title
  3. Press Enter
  4. Event created with default settings

Detailed Event Creation

Open Event Form

  1. Click New Event button
  2. Or double-click a date/time
  3. Event form opens

Basic Information

  • Event Title - Name of the event
  • Description - Additional details
  • Location - Physical address or virtual meeting link

Date & Time

Regular Events:

  • Start date and time
  • End date and time
  • Duration calculated automatically

All-Day Events:

  • Toggle All-Day Event
  • Select date only
  • No time required

Event Type

Select category:

  • Personal
  • Project
  • Meeting
  • Deadline
  • Conference

Visual Settings

  • Color - Choose event color
  • Helps categorize visually
  • Filter by color in calendar view

Advanced Options

Recurring Events

Create repeating events:

  1. Enable Repeating Event
  2. Select pattern:
    • Daily
    • Weekly (select days)
    • Monthly (by date or day)
    • Yearly
  3. Set end condition:
    • Never
    • After X occurrences
    • On specific date

Reminders

Add notification reminders:

  1. Click Add Reminder
  2. Choose timing (5 min to 1 week before)
  3. Select type:
    • Email
    • In-app notification
    • Both
  4. Add multiple reminders if needed

Attendees

Invite team members:

  1. Click Add Attendees
  2. Search for users
  3. Select participants
  4. They receive invitation

Saving Events

  • Click Create Event
  • Event appears on calendar
  • Reminders scheduled
  • Invitations sent (if attendees added)

  • Use templates for recurring meeting types
