Viewing Notifications​

Notification Center​

  1. Click bell icon (🔔)
  2. View all notifications
  3. Click to view details
  4. Mark as read
  5. Delete unwanted

Filter Notifications​

Managing Notifications​

Mark as Read​

  • Click notification to mark read
  • Or click Mark as Read
  • Bulk: Mark All as Read
  • Auto-mark after viewing

Delete Notifications​

  • Hover over notification
  • Click delete icon (×)
  • Or Clear All
  • Permanent removal

Take Action​

Many notifications have quick actions:

  • Accept/Decline invitations
  • Reply to messages
  • View project details
  • Join matched opportunities

Notification Settings​

Configure Preferences​

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications
  2. See categories:
    • Messages
    • Projects
    • AI Matching
    • Calendar
    • Publications
    • System

Per-Category Settings​

For each category, choose:

  • Email Frequency
    • Real-time (immediate)
    • Daily digest
    • Weekly summary
    • Off
  • In-App Notifications
    • Enabled/Disabled
  • Browser Notifications
    • Enabled/Disabled

Email Digest​

Instead of individual emails:

  • Daily digest at chosen time
  • Weekly summary
  • Includes all activity
  • Unread items highlighted

Custom Notification Rules​

Priority Notifications​

Set high-priority alerts for:

  • AI matches above X% relevance
  • Messages from specific people
  • Project invitations
  • Approaching deadlines

Quiet Hours​

Pause notifications during:

  1. Settings > Notifications > Quiet Hours
  2. Set start time
  3. Set end time
  4. Urgent notifications still come through
  5. Save preferences

Notification Sounds​

Control audio alerts:

  • Enable/disable sounds
  • Different sounds per type
  • Volume control
  • Custom sound upload

Do Not Disturb Mode​

Temporary Silence​

  1. Click profile icon
  2. Select Do Not Disturb
  3. Choose duration:
    • 1 hour
    • 4 hours
    • Until tomorrow
    • Custom
  4. Critical alerts only

Exceptions​

Even in DND mode, receive:

  • Urgent project updates
  • Calendar reminders (optional)
  • Emergency notifications

Troubleshooting​

Not Receiving Notifications​

Email:

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Verify email address
  • Check notification settings
  • Whitelist domain

Browser:

In-App:

  • Refresh page
  • Clear cache
  • Check settings

Too Many Notifications​

  • Switch to digest mode
  • Disable less important categories
  • Increase relevance threshold for matches
  • Enable quiet hours

Notification Delay​

  • Check internet connection
